The PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) process consists in taking
metallic ions from a source, which then combined with a gas will
form a ceramic compound deposited onto the surface of the parts
to be coated.
These layers, which combine both a very high degree of hardness and a low level of thickness, can be applied in a wide range of colours.
The PVD process meets the most severe specifications and wear
resistance requirements for top of the line products.
This outstanding qualitative and clean technology is both an alternative
and a complement to galvanic plating. The most innovative designers
use it because of its large scope of application : luxury goods, watch making,
pens, eyeglass frames, cell phones...
